HSE Manager

Educational Qualification

Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering OR Science (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)


Professional / Technical Qualifications

Minimum one of the following:

  • NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (Subject to approval by ADNOC Group)
  • Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion)


Mandatory

  • Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent.
  • Incident Investigation technique.
 
Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage
 
Work Experience

Minimum 15 years’ experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas or petro-chemical industries, with at least 6 years’ experience in a lead HSE position managing team of HSE professionals
 

Skills and Competencies

  • Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC  business.
  • Able to lead a team of HSE professionals such as HSE Engineers, Sr. HSE officers, HSE officers etc. 
  • Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
  • Sound understanding of all HSE Deliverables
  • Sound understanding of all HSE Studies
  • Shall participated in HSE Assurance Audits
  • Having sound knowledge in Piping, Pipeline, Wellhead, Tie-in Projects.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in audit processes.
  • Competency in SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
  • Ability to develop Project HSE plans, Construction Plans, ERP procedures, Road Safety Plans, Welfare Plan, CEMP, Waste Management Plans etc.
  • Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques.
  • Awareness of H2S hazards and control measures.
  • Ability to speak, read & write English with good communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
