QA/QC Engineer ( Engineering/ Procurement)
- Quality Planning:
- Develop and implement quality management plans for engineering and procurement activities.
- Define quality standards and metrics for engineering designs and procured materials.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that engineering processes and procurement activities comply with established quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor engineering designs and procured materials to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Identify and address any quality issues or defects.
- Supplier Quality Management:
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on their ability to meet quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and monitor supplier performance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality performance and compliance.
- Issue Resolution:
- Identify and address any quality issues in engineering designs or procured materials.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement corrective actions.
- Training and Supervision:
- Train and supervise engineering and procurement personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in quality management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Certifications such as ASQ, ISO 9001, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience in quality management within engineering and procurement.
- Proven track record of managing quality assurance and control processes.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough audits and inspections.
Key Tasks and Duties:

- Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage quality-related risks and issues in engineering and procurement.
